Military Mom on Hardball is READING HER PRAISE FOR RUMMY
Jesus...not even subtle...she tries to look at the camera, but then has to keep referring to the crib notes in her hand. She can't say a word without reading it, and it sounds like it's coming straight out of Rove's office!

6. It's two military moms.
One is opposed to Rummy, the card-reader is in favor of him.

In fairness, now that they each had their "opening statements," she's acting a bit more relaxes, but she is still spouting Bush's speeches. "We're fighting them there so we don't have to fight them here."

4. I pitty that poor lady. For some reason she feels the need to defend
these scum and send her family members to die. She has no clue what she is talking about and its painful to watch her repeat talking points she has heard on Fox News.

9. I don't pity her at all
she chooses to be ignorant of the facts. Her blind faith in the repuke party and her prez is disgusting. It is a sin someone with a loved one in Iraq still chooses to ignore the facts.

14. Well I feel sorry for these type of people, because I don't think that its
because they don't want to know, but that they refuse to believe they could be betrayed by their leaders. So they are hoping against all odds that they are not being lied to. These type of people are easy to lead around by the nose.

20.  She'd be more than willing to send someone else's son out to die
based on the line she's swallowed. I have sympathy for her loss, but not a lot of patience with her credulity.

22. Pity? No, ACCOUNTABILITY.
They deserve what they vote for & believe.

That's accountability. As long as they insist on being willfully irresponsible, they can go straight to hell.

Whenever they've had enough of their irresponsibility though, I'll be the first to welcome them.

7. typical freeper
she even has the same old tired sayings regarding why we went to Iraq: we needed to go after the terrorists on 9/11 :eyes:

we need to fight them over in their yard rather than our backyard. :eyes:

She is one kool aide drinking brainwashed bushbot!

12. I don't think it's fair to call her a "freeper."
She's a mom with two kids over there in a hopeless war. She's rationalizing why she shouldn't hate hate hate and break down every night by crawling into a bottle of cheap vodka. I have two teenaged boys, and I thank my lucky stars every night that they're bright enough to think Bush is a fucking moron.

That said, this "debate" between two war moms is horrible. It's as un-PC as midget wrestling or bum fighting. Both these poor women are it a horrible place, asked by Tweety to defend themselves for our entertainment.

MSNBC...shame on you.

17. I know people like her
my sister and my sister in law are just like her. Proud their kids are there fighting for our freedoms. They choose to ignore the facts and I have no sympathy. I am sorry but if it was my kid I would be damn certain they were there for a "noble cause" not for some sound bites from faux news.

That said, I agree this is a shameful diplay on MSRNC and tweety out does his usual barrel scraping.

16. Well, she certainly didn't do herself, her family or her organization
any favors. I saw this segment during the 5 PM airing and I couldn't help but think what a complete moran this woman is. Sorry, I don't usually call people who have lost family members to Bush's War a moran but she is a complete lackey for Chimpy. I actually worked up a bit of embarrassment for her, she came across so wooden, programmed and just plain dumb. Still thinking Saddam was responsible for 9/11. Was surprised to realize she was reading from notes because I would have bet good money she couldn't read after she made the Saddam 9/11 argument and we are fighting them over there so we don't fight them over here BS. Pathetic.

She was still defending Rummy even after Tweety player her the clip of Rummy not imagining an insurgency, then he had to read it back to her, re-framed the question and practically drew her a picture of what Rummy said and she still didn't get the context of the question or the defense of Rummy she kept spouting. Totally clueless. She, did however, have all the talking points down cold - with a little help from a Norquist crib sheet - just like Chucklenuts.

hire Susan Sarandon to give her a few pointers...would love to see Susan just skewer the Chimp on camera than follow the script given to her...that would be a hoot!

while the other mom is up on her facts. Matthews is trying to inform her of the truth, but she just won't have any of it.

23. He did an artful job of drawing her out....gently...and illustrating that
she thought the war had something to do with Saddam being involved in 9/11. She was fuzzy and vague on it, but it was very clear that's what she thought. I doubt she knew she was being used to illustrate a point.
That's why Tweety gave her so much more airtime than the other mom.
First time in a long time that I've had something good to say about Matthews.
