Smith (R-NJ) on Washington Journal now re human rights hearing on China
Concerned primarily about the persecution of religion in China and political dissenters. Fair enough. I wonder if the congressman is equally concerned enough about violations of human rights by our own government to hold hearings as well.

2. he talked of China's one child policy. and while china has many problems
with this law (women killing themselves. forced abortions etc)---Smith just wants China to abolish birth contol period.
