Today Show. He will be promoting his new film, American Dreamz, in which he plays a Shrublike President. Last week Katie Couric interviewed Hugh Grant and inquired if the portrayal of the Pres was over the top. I wonder if Quaid will also be questioned about this?

13. The interview left the question about how he feels for the Shrub up in

the air. For all I know, he might still feel justified for voting for the Imbecile in Chief.

11. I'll bet anything that's his way of deflecting the criticism they expect

for making his character Bushlike. I hardly believe it of Quaid, though I know there has been a concerted effort over the last 10 years to bring entertainment community into the Bush cabal. They really ramped it up after 9-11.

7. When I was working for Seger...

Dennis arrived on my side of the stage(stage right drop riser, full of guitars, amps and other things) with a HUGE bodyguard. He grabbed the stool I had there and proceeded to sit down in the exactly right spot caculated to make my job 75-80% harder. Stayed there the whole show.

I seriously considered slamming him with the yamaha 5-string bass. Had I done so, however, I am sure I would have killed him. That bass was one beefy instrument.
