CNN Treating Gas Prices As Happy Talk with Wow Factor

Some idiot on with Rush's ex right now. She's rattling off how high gas prices affect everyone, but
the tone of the piece is eerily like a Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous segment. At these prices, we're
all spending left & right! We must all be rich!

It's really creepy.

1. CNN is creepy top to bottom...and she near the lowest rung

2. All news broadcasters do this. "Wow, how about those gas prices!"

Then comes the inevitable segment about two or three gas stations in town where the price of gas is $3.03/gal instead of $3.06 (ooooo!)

Then comes the second inevitable segment where they tell you to keep your tires properly inflated, and drive the speed limit. We're saved!

Then comes the third, and usually last part where they interview a few people at the pump, and ask them stupid questions like "why do you think gas prices are so high?"

OK, that isn't actually a stupid question, but it's stupid to ask Joe car owner at the pump. Why not do something crazy for a news organization called "investigative reporting?"
