Gay Cumberland College student Jason Johnson wins
concessions in his struggle with the theocratic administration. As you remember, he got kicked out because he is gay. He was two weeks from finishing his sophomore year when he was suspended for his sexual orientation.

What has come down is he will be able to finish his classes, he will get credit, and he will be able to transfer with a clean record. He had to promise not to sue.

Jason said he was going to transfer after this year anyway.

What I think is going on is Cumberland wants that $11 million dollar check from our state government. Screwing over Jason may have made that difficult. We will still fight this giveaway of our money to religious organizations.
