Although actually I just heard it, couldn't see it. I have Firefox, use to see the video but without having changed anything it doesn't show up anymore. Still I can hear the sound.

10. What gives me hope about that clip is several things ......

First, that these guests were even guests

Next, that Lou Dobbs treated them with respect.

Last, that not one of them was a right wing nutter.

She thought she probably looked/sounded insane, but she had to tell "the Dobbs" this or we would all be doomed.

However, she was very rude, not letting people finish their statements.

We complain when it happens to us and there she is talking over top of the other guests and Dobbs.

total control over the conversations on her own show. She is not a good listener.

they only have so many minutes to be interviewed. She is like a cannon of information, shoot away Randi.

19. I watched it although the volume was very low. After reading here, I

expected Randi to totally dominate the show.

She didn't.

I mean compared to so many others on these shows, she was only moderately interrupting.

Usually the ones who interrupt the most are men. Even in everyday conversation. Saw a study on this a long time ago.

Most women on these kinds of shows aren't able to out talk or talk over others, either due to not having a loud enough voice or not having a personality that makes them feel okay about it.

I wonder if some of the reaction is simply that Randi isn't behaving in the stereotypical way.

She's so good at what she does. AND I often cannot listen to her for very long. Because she is so intense and states things in ways intended to incite. This is good for those who don't already get it.

And she speaks so starkly of very disturbing things, events.

If only she'd give a warning that graphic material is coming up.

Anyhow she got her message out, re the test in June in Nevada.

but I gotta say, when she's on television, I cringe and usually turn the station because she's so rude in the company of other guests. It's okay when you're the only one with a mic, but when she's on with a panel, she's like a bull in a china shop.
