MSNBC's half hour on TomKat

MSNBC is devoting this entire half hour to TomKat, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes's baby, who is actually named "Suri," not TomKat.

Did I wake up in some kind of alt-reality?

1. Keith Olbermann pre-skewered his own network last night, by poking fun

at the overkill ... using dramatic classical music and "NBC News Special Report" logos ... speaking in a Ted Baxter voice.

Then, after it was all over, he threatened to fire his team of producers for making him do the story.

But, of course, MSNBC has to embrace the overkill the next day. Bleaaaah. Another Scientologist in the world. I cannot even be happy about Scotty and Karl on a day when there's another celebrity member of that murdering, thieving cult in the world!
