4. Harris will soon need the money:
Her campaign is imploding and she plans to use her inheritance on a vainglorious Senate run:

Press secretary would be the perfect job for her.

11. Ugh! Check this out...
Fair & Balanced White House?

Finally, total synchronicity. Fox News and the White House are merging into one entity. Well, not really.

CNN just reported that a few weeks ago new White House chief of staff Josh Bolten asked Fox News's Tony Snow if he would be interested in replacing Scott McClellan as White House press secretary. CNN did not report whether Snow responded affirmatively and Snow refused to comment publicly. Funny how his website boasts of "The Power of Fox. The Connections of Snow."

18. A life-sized cardboard cut-out of Scott McClellan.
Just prop it up behind the lectern. It won't make any difference to the information that the WH press corps receives.

22. hehe -- I just got a flashback to that scene from "Real Genius"...
There's this lecture class that students start tape recording so they don't have to attend, first it's one guy leaving his portable tape recorder, then more and more, and eventually the entire class has been replaced by cassette recorders. Then, at the end of the sequence, the prof leaves a big reel-to-reel tape deck up front to do the lecture. One of the best running jokes in an '80s flick, IMHO.
