Carl Bernstein was right!
We need a full fledged, no holds barred, investigation into this administration!
We have on the plate: Plame, pre-war intellegence, Katrina, warrantless wiretapping, the ports deal, the plan to nuke Iran, Cheney's energy plan, the secret ballot counting, and I'm sure more that my mind has forgotten amidst all the biggies.
It's time for the administration to account for these egregious actions. When and how will it happen? Tomorrow would be a good time to start.

1. Well, the only way it will happen is if Dems win Congress in November

3. You can and you will.
It's a good campaign issue. Let's use it. But really, don't hold your breath waiting for Republicans to prosecute Republicans for breaking the law.

4. well unfortunately we are going to have to
because it's unlikely he is going to be impeached with the Republicans running congress. There have to be investigations first and they won't allow any.

5. There's a chance after November, albeit a slim one.
The biggest obstacle are the vichy Democrats. By condemning the cabals actions they are also condemning themselves and they are in positions of authority, thereby, having the means to prevent the investigation.

9. There's a fine line between patience
and stupidity and we're bordering on stupidity now for not having investigations.

10. Dems should be talking about Impeaching Cheney then Bush
instead of coasting on the low approval ratings of both of these Criminals.

12. I agree with you...yesterday would have been good...
there has to be a way to initiate an investigation by officials outside of Congress. Like District Attorney's Offices, in each state, pooling resources and going to town. I am not at all hopeful of congressional investigations doing much more than they have in the past....namely espousing a cover story, where in a few 'bad apples' take the fall, and the truth remains in the closet.
