I think Randi does better on tv than radio (can't listen to her on AAR - I like her general message but cannot stand her mistreatment of callers and guests). She was a bit overbearing on the show but so was that other guy (Mtume?).

but I do like passionate talk like this. She done good, she couldn't hang up. ;)

And it was good that she corrected the record on the votes against the war. But speaking over "The Dobbs" on his own program was a bad moment. We need her there. But he could decide not to ask her back if she keeps it up.

That's always my biggest complaint about her. Very rude to callers, cuts them off, and talks over them when many times they are making really good points that shouldn't be interrupted.

It's like she has this nagging need to be the center of attention or something...

She does tend to steer every conversation her way even when the caller is going in a totally different direction.

Dogday...I like Franken for his mostly laid back, good-humored but fiercely intellectual discussions, and Randi for her fantastic passion, her great intelligence, thorough research, and her deep empathy...she's really funny, she cares as far as the day is long...when Randi finishes her show, my Air American link gets turned off pronto...none of the other AAR shows keeps my attention...

that said, i'm very happy for AAR and every show they produce and put on...who cares if none of us like each and every one? gotta sleep, listen to music, etc sometime :)

17. Welcome to DU. I agree with you. Randi is great & about time

someone gives it right back to them. When I listen to her - I catch myself say ' You go girl'. Sure, she gets excited at times & sometimes just babels on, but before her all I could listen to is Neil Boortz or Hannity. Believe me , she is a breath of fresh air compared to them.

She is WAY too full of herself.

She does this to her guests. She tells them what is going on, instead of letting them speak! Why bother having any guests at all?! She has 95% of the time to herself!

She is best when she simply talking about facts and history. But, her ego is her down-fall.

without her... It was great to turn on the radio and listen to someone with the same opinion as mine. That is her style like it or not... Thank goodness we have that little thing called the off button for those who don't like her....
