Who is to blame for this country's massive trade deficit, loss of middle class jobs, and dependence on China for computers, consumer electronics and clothing?

President Bush 97%

President Hu 3%

5. Look Clinton got stuck signing NAFTA when are you people going to get it?
Good old Newt and the piglets he lead were threatening to shut down something Clinton wanted. At the time of the signing he made provisions that meant NAFTA wouldn't kick in until the other countries were on the same playing field as the US. Along came good GW and said hey we don't need to let Mexico and the rest catch up to us, then the rush for the border was on.

8. Who the hell are 'you people'? I wrote a fvcking ode to newt..do not tell
me about what newt did during this time...Clinton signed the galldern NAFTA..sorry...he ain't off the hook!

This is an old political poem from 1995-
an attempt at reviving the "Good Old Days"

Contract on America-remember?

This violence must at once be quelled!
(The politician from his podium yelled.)

No leg up! No head start! No affirmative action!
These surely cause their violent reaction!

More Prisons! More Jails! More Judges! More Time!
Less money with which those poor can dine!
So certain am I - the effect of nutrition!
To grow muscle on the non-patrician!
That I will with my own hand!
See their free school lunch be banned!

(A lull in the cheering occurred.)
(And the soft voice of reality was heard.)

But what of the fodder of kith and kin
laced like father Mather’s gin?
With objects d’chem that make them wild
A mother can’t hold back her own child.

Feed Fruit! Feed Vegetables! (Let them eat cake!)
Advertising (cereal) needn’t be progeny’s rake!
Study after study produce not a single conclusion!
ADD’s a bleeding-heart liberal delusion!

And what of the vicious malicious intent
of the entire Saturday ‘toon content?
The wildness left in my child’s eye
makes my surely to be broke heart cry.

That’s not been proven - no studies confirm!
Just turn off the set - ya’ll must be stern!
As long as the “Good Guys” ( WE have defined ) win violent confrontation!
Our own studies find no fault with vicious conflagration!

Working two jobs. You can’t be home?
It’s against the law to leave them alone!

Listen to me folks! I’m free from vise!
I’m rich and I’m right. Take my advise!
Listen to me folks! Become one of us!
They have no money, no power, no impetus!

It’s people like them whining and blaming!
No personal responsibility has them shaming!

Madison Ave’s job is to sell our - er - the product!
Not take responsibility for their child’s misconduct!

The conclusions at which I have arrived!
Are Scientifically based facts “Good Guys” contrived!

Relative truth does not exist!
We know they give it a twist!
They call it nutrition, prevention, reciprocity!
We’ll prove being poor is a punishable felony!

KS. Welch 1995

11. NAFTA was a shoe in reguardless if Clinton signed the bill or not
by signing the bill Clinton hoped he could at least slow what he saw as a danger to a trickle, instead of the flood that came after shrubs first year in office. If Newt and his pubes had their way things would have been worse today then they are. It would have given the pukes and businesses a few years head start on the mass migration of jobs out of country. Clinton was put between a rock and a hard place, every president has had to do things he didn't want to do. Just like Clintons welfare reform, pukes would have cut everyone off but Clinton stopped that from happening with what he did. I have been watching and following the right wing and the puke agenda since 1978, its all the same terrorist tactics, you forget how Reagan when he didn't get his way shut down the government, which hurt the retired and handi capped because their SS and SSDI checks kept coming in late. The pukes learned real well from Reagans tactics. Could you imagine what a dem president would have faced if he had done the same thing as Reagan? Say what you want but at least admit the truth, NAFTA was going to be enacted and nobody could have stopped it. BTW, if memory serves me right, the pukes had the votes needed to enact NAFTA without Clinton signing the bill, Can you imagine what Newts version of NAFTA would have looked like?

7. it should say "more to blame"
it isn't as if these trends didn't exist before * and most certainly will after *, whether a Democrat or Republican is elected in '08. The fact is that Hu and China want the trade deficit as it is because it benefits China.
