McLellan and all the rats a- fleeing
So the only question is, is this Junior Bush's idea-"He hee..this looks good-I'm changing the deck hands" or are they running for their lives?

I saw some analysis a few weeks ago-that both Scotty and Card have been with Bush so long to leave now means they want something else on their resumes. It means they know that clinging to the titantic is not good for their lives. It means Bush is NEVER coming back but only going down, down, down. Do you think he threw them over because he's stupid enough to think that changing a few names is going to save him or they are swimming away as fast as they can?

3. Don't most 2 term presidents go through 2 or 3 Scotty/Ari's?
How many of these did Clinton have? Dee Dee, George...

5. Well we know that's not happening because
as Mr. Russert was telling Olbermann tonight-firing Rummy is like firing himself. Bush will NEVER admit his war is wrong and will never get rid of Rummy. He's the neo-con head idiot in chief.

6. I don't think they're fleeing as much as they're being kicked to the curb
Card, who was famous for his endurance and his single-minded devotion to his job, would never have left without having boot leather applied to his butt. McClellan clearly was pressured into it, and there's no way Rove would give up his policy portfolio without a few "suggestions" he focus more on political strategy.

That's my reading. I think there are more to come, too.

Peace.

7. Bush is the problem....
they can make all the changes they want and it still isn't going to resolve the problem. That bonehead will still be in office, that's the bottom line. I think the American public sees through this charade. It's BUSH that's not popular, not his underlings and until HE'S gone, nothing is going to change.
