Under the topic of Don't Shoot the Messenger...John Conyers
Edited on Wed Apr-19-06 11:13 PM by cal04
we get the latest episode of President Bush's efforts to find and destroy bad news about his administration. Perhaps the public's association of Scott McClellan with more of the same half-truths, obfuscation, and deception misleading our nation into war was too much for the president. Maybe he needs a new cheery face that hasn't been beaten down by all those meddlesome questions from David Gregory. Maybe the leaker-in-chief President needs someone to find answers to the questions he hasn't gotten around to addressing yet, such as: will he still fire anyone found to have leaked Valerie Plame's identity?

1. Does it really matter who is mouthing the lies that they tell us? Lies are
lies! Just because a ventriloquist uses a different dummy is that supposed to fool us into thinking that it is a different ventriloquist?

Those people in the White House really do think the American public are idiots.

4. It really is amazing that 35% still think the twit is doing a good job,
isn't it? Makes me wonder who the hell they are asking.

3. I really hope this
employee accusation against him in the news now doesn't dog him. I'm afraid it's going to marginalize him if he doesn't handle it better than what I saw on CNN.

I sure hope that doesn't happen because boy, I love Conyers.
