Is KKKarl violating the Hatch Act |

Maybe I'm missing something but isn't it a violation of the Hatch Act for Karl to be working on the republicans mid term election strategy (his job description)...while he's receiving a paycheck from the federal government?

but I don't know why the DEMS or anyone else hasn't done something about it.
They went after Gore for just making a few phone calls, while Rove runs Bush's entire campaign out of the WH while on the government payroll.

2. Hatch act is about fundraising. Rove's a strategist. |

And if receiving a paycheck was enough to violate the Hatch Act if you work on strategy then W. AND former President Clinton (and perhaps other presidents) would be guilty as sin of violating it. It's not quite that strict.

4. Yeah, but he doesn't have to in this case. |
|
Because strategizing is not the same as picking up the phone and begging donors for cash (using a government-paid phone line in a government-paid office) as for as that act goes.
