Brent R. Wilkes, the Poway defense contractor who is one of the unindicted co-conspirators in the Randy “Duke” Cunningham corruption case, owes the county more than $304,000 in back taxes.

Poway contractor Brent Wilkes owes the county more than $304,000 in property tax.
The deadline to pay property taxes passed last week, and Wilkes paid the bill for the four homes he owns, according to the county tax collector's records.

But property taxes have not been paid since 2004 on a $15.6 million office building on Stowe Drive in Poway that is owned by one of his companies and serves as the headquarters of another of Wilkes' companies, ADCS Inc.
