My LTTE about Lieberman
(sent to Hartford Courant, biggest paper in CT)

Joseph Lieberman has provided unfailing support of President Bush and the Administration's orchestration of the Iraq War. Documents uncovered by the British press along with the publicly accessible agenda of the group called “Project for the New American Century” make it clear that the Iraq war is based on purposeful lies by the Administration: There were no WMD and Iraq played no role in 9/11.

Senator Lieberman's assertion that there is progress in Iraq because of satellite dishes and cell phones emphasizes how out of touch he is and how blind he is to the human cost of war. Many were fooled by the lies used to start the Iraq war. But now that those lies have been exposed, it is unacceptable for Senator Lieberman to continue to support Bush.

That is why I support Ned Lamont for U.S. Senate. Ned Lamont understands the truth about the quagmire in Iraq and opposes Bush. Ned Lamont will do what is right for America, instead of what is most profitable for Bush’s cronies. Ned is the brave, honest and strong-willed leader we need to represent us in Congress. Joe Lieberman has deserted the people of Connecticut, and its time to replace him.

2. I'm betting dollars to doughnuts that, if they use it, they'll cut the
mention to the PNAC, too.

For some reason, the media isn't allowed to utter those words, either spoken or in print.

Good letter, though!
