Wow- and this is a FUX poll. Will Chimp ever see the twenties, I want to know.

President Bush’s job approval rating slipped this week and stands at a new low of 33 percent approve, down from 36 percent two weeks ago and 39 percent in mid-March. A year ago this time, 47 percent approved and two years ago 50 percent approved (April 2004).

Approval among Republicans is below 70 percent for the first time of Bush’s presidency. Two-thirds (66 percent) approve of Bush’s job performance today, down almost 20 percentage points from this time last year when 84 percent of Republicans approved. Among Democrats, 11 percent approve today, while 14 percent approved last April.

2. hmmmm... but
a foul wind is blowing in Rove's direction... indictments are a-comin' (maybe, possibly, probably).... don't know if that'll be a bump or a thud (a splat would be nice).

Edited on Thu Apr-20-06 04:04 PM by jsamuel
the others have all been 8-10th and before

I think it is funny that Fox interprets the fall as Republicans being scared of Bush's low poll numbers getting lower, not that they actually disapprove, but that they approve, but say they don't because they are scared that he will hurt Republicans in November...

6. More joy among the Freepers, I'm sure.
The Evil Librul Media strikes again.

And don't forget the running hard fundamental trend of -1% per month, either.
"Genius" Karl Rove has never actually been able to change that basic fact, only gimmick around it.

The numbers and trend say that by the fall we're talking catastrophic failure of a Presidency and a Party.
By spring it's impeachment vs resignation.

Oh, Bush in the twenties...give it four to six months.

I guess his repuke base is starting to realize the gas coming out of the Bush Administration is the kind that stinks to high heaven and not the kind that will fill the car tank.

12. The reason it will keep dropping is that...
People won't necessarily get excited and angry about the same things you and I do.

But with an ala carte of incompetance, eventually, they will choose SOMETHING.

Thats his biggest problem.

And, now he's gone even lower in the polls. How will they spin this one? Last week, it was "nowhere to go but up"... but, now he's down even more.

21. "The sky is falling!" "My kingdom for a horse!" "WTF?" :):):):):):)
This is about as good as it gets, "they report, we decide" that * has to be impeached
along with Cheney and EVERY SINGLE * APPOINTED JUDGE. After all, election fraud
research has a prima facia case for a stolen election. Imagine if ANYONE in authority
(like subpoena power) investigated seriously. But that may not need to be the case
because there are multiple holes in the dike, and some fingers are getting a bit sore
I suspect.

One caveat. His scores will dip unless there's another 9/11 incident.
