Employees allegedly stole $600 from customers
LEE COUNTY: The Lee County Sheriff's Office is investigating credit card fraud at a Bonita Springs Taco Bell. Detectives say two teen employees were swiping customer's debit cards more than once and pocketing the cash.

The crime started off small and unnoticeable, until customers began calling the Taco Bell in Bonita Springs several days ago. They wanted to know why they were overcharged for food after using their debit or credit cards.

When Taco Bell's managers looked into it, they found some customers were charged double, even triple the correct cost.

Collectively, it totaled more than $600.

The money is missing and two teenage boys who worked at the restaurant are suspected of stealing it.
