I know there are a lot of people who pay attention to the personal lives of actors, singers, sports stars etc, but I don't. I never have! If I like a movie they made or an album the recorded, or even a TV series they were in, I'm happy with them. If I don't like what they've done, they I never watch or listen anymore.

Who cares what Charlie was or wasn't doing? I'm sure it's all about $$ and who gets what. If it isn't me, I don't care.

It's just his addictions that have taken over his life

I don't see this being some conspiracy, unless freepers forced him to take drugs, sleep with hookers, view porn on his computer, visit sex sites, or gamble.

I like Charlie, he's a funny guy.

But he's got problems that he better deal with or his options are jails, institutions, or death from disease, drugs, Bruno collecting is debts, etc.

Not on child porn, but he's a crazy Hollywood brat and has been up to all sorts for years. It is very possible that a lot of this is true.

Add to this the bitterness in 99% of divorces and I don't think this story needed any Machiaveliian string-pulling from the usual suspects to juice it up.

Reminds me a bit of Mia Farrow's allegations about Woody Allen at their divorce.

That said, Denise Richards always stuck me as excessively smiley, and hence spooky.

in a divorce proceeding and the evidence involved matters that could be easily proven or disproven with computers, witnesses, documents, etc. If she lied, it can be easily shown and the judge will consider that with all of her filings and testimony. If I was her attorney, I wouldn't have let her make these statements under oath unless we had the backup evidence. I'm betting she does. Remember, a statement under oath isn't only an allegation, it's evidence.

That's not only illegal here, it's against international law, yet, as always with 'neilsy' as Babs calls him, nothing happened. There is video available of his wife's lawyer questioning him about it and his own admission that it was true.
