Matalin lied on several of her morning television appearances this week and claimed that Landreau had praised the Bush administration for their efforts down in "Nawlins"

6. She's a democrat in the deep south
trying to do the best she can. I dunno. I routinely bitched at her through emails when I lived there. I always did have the feeling she was trying to do the best she could for her constituents. Maybe I was wrong. It's hard to judge in a state that produces politicos like the Longs and Edwin Edwards.

8. Also represents a resource rich state
I disagree with her positions regarding the oil and gas industry, but also understand she is trying to protect the interests of her state. At the end of the day, she is one of the "good guys."
