These are from gas stations around my house today. I know these are cheap by comparison to some east coasters. (Chevron is always the highest around here. They must be funneling a lot of money to the GOP.)

This is only the latest outrage, of course. There are so many. My question is, why aren't there people swinging from lamp posts by now?

But honestly, I wouldn't be bitching if my gas money were going to taxes that helped fund roads, public transportation and research into alternative fuels.

4. On the bus home last night:

On the south end of the Las Vegas Strip, the first Shell station before the major hotels was selling regular for $3.189! An AM/PM (Arco) closer to where I live was $2.819. They're almost always the lowest.

The oil companies know very well what the world's oil supply that is needed right to the gallon, yet they purposely cut back on the oil flow...so they can raise prices, saying there's not enough gas, so prices go up whenever there's a shortage of anything...But they are the fucking ones allowing this shortage to occur, because it does increase profits, to record levels every quarter for these slimy fucks by simply controlling & keeping the flow at the bare minimum. And then the media spits out oil company's bullshit, China, low inventories, etc...

That is price gouging!!

Fortunately, don't have to do a lot of driving around where I live. But, as prices keep rising, am going to get gas to top off during next week.

Looks like it's only going to get worse and will stay worse...IMO, I don't think any of us are going to see prices coming down for the next few months.
