Treasury Secretary John Snow on Saturday warned that soaring oil prices, large trade and budget deficits and protectionist policies could undermine the well-performing global economy.

In remarks to an International Monetary Fund committee, Snow cited such threats to the economic outlook.

“We need to be vigilant about risks from oil market developments, the unwinding of global imbalances, protectionist pressures and balance sheet vulnerabilities,” according to comments released by the Treasury Department in advance of the private meeting.

I give him a week for being the bearer of bad news. The Decider he no like bad news.

4. My guess is 2 weeks.
I do think he's on his way out, but Shrub will force Bolton to do others first, JUST BECAUSE the media is predicting Snow!

6. I have a theory about this
The day McClellan jumped ship, a friend called me and said Drudge was reporting that he would be replaced by Tony Snow. I immediately imagined this scenario:

Drudge or Drudge source to WH source: "With McClellan leaving, who's next?" (ie. Who's replacing McClellan?)

WH source: "Oh, it's definitely Snow." (ie. Snow will be the next to leave.)
