First Lady to 'grace' us with her presence on Monday in MA
Edited on Sat Apr-22-06 03:15 PM by debbierlus
Yes, Miss Activist of Trite & Meaningless Causes will be coming to Berkshire County, MA on Monday to read a statement or some such nonsense at the Mount. (Lavish Former Home of Edith Warton, Famous Berkshire Author)...

Local Headline: First Lady to Grace (PUKE) the Mount with her presence....

Last time I looked, our food pantries were emptying out in this area due to stagnant donations and increased need.

Also, seems that another factory is closing.

But, Pickles is coming to a wealthy tourist trap to grace it with her presence.

:puke:

Why doesn't she just stay at the White House and order some new drapes?

Grace us, INDEED!

2. Mrs. Fuckface
Yeah, she's got that thousand-mile Xanax stare, those meaningless little visits, and a husband who's a mass murderer, liar, thief, and war criminal.

What a great broad. You're so lucky.

Puke, indeed. Say hello to The Great Enabler/T-Boner for me.

4. Can you imagine the good you could do with that position?

A First Lady has so much access to press and resources.

Man. The causes that one could champion (if one was not a narcisstic, shallow, Stepford Republan wife who lives to decorate)!

7. I remember Jackie Kennedy
Do you remember how hard Hillary Clinton worked on universal health care (she was doomed from the get-go), and Lady Bird Johnson cleaned up America's highways?

Betty Ford sat on her stoned ass until it was time to pick up the government perks, and Pat Nixon sat in the dark, drinking, but who could blame her?

Rosalyn Carter was 'way out there with literacy.

Yeah, the First Ladies can do a whole hell of a lot, but it seems like the Repuglican women just like to sit. Barbara Bush took time out to call Walter Mondale's running mate, Geraldine Ferraro, a word, Fat Babs said, "...rhymes with witch."

Charming, huh? And we wonder why Fuckface grew up to be Fuckface?

This little twit just stares. I fucking HATE THEM ALL.

Sorry. I seem to have lost it. ......................

5. I think we should just wave "Stop" Signs at her...
Mrs. Bush ran stop sign in fatal crash

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Details in a 1963 accident report say that Laura Bush, then 17, ran a stop sign in the Texas crash that killed a friend in another car. The report, adding information to previous reports of the crash, was released to The Associated Press on Wednesday.

Mrs. Bush now is the wife of Republican presidential nominee-to-be George W. Bush, the Texas governor.

''It was a very tragic accident that deeply affected the families and was very painful for all involved, including the community at large,'' said Mrs. Bush's spokesman, Andrew Malcolm. ''To this day, Mrs. Bush remains unable to talk about it.''

She did say in March, when asked at a campaign stop about the crash, ''I know this as an adult, and even more as a parent, it was crushing ... for the family involved and for me as well.''

The Mount is closed for the 2005 season. Please join us when we reopen for the 2006 Season, Saturday May 6th through October 29th.

The Mount receives 2005 Preserve America Presidential Award

The Mount received the Preserve America Presidential Award from President Bush at the White House on Monday, May 2, 2005. The selection of The Mount and three other historical organizations was announced by President Bush in the Rose Garden, followed by a private award ceremony with the President and First Lady Laura Bush in the Oval Office. In honoring The Mount for its preservation work, the President quoted Edith Wharton’s comment that "there are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it," remarking that the tremendous restoration efforts at The Mount reflect Wharton’s light and will enrich our national heritage.
