"non-partisan ministry"

For over four years, God-fearing Americans have gathered to lift up the man whom God has placed in the office of the Presidency (Romans 13:1 "Everyone must submit to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those that exist are instituted by God.").

Pray for minimal losses in the way of "collateral damage."

Why not just pray for an end to all wars? But you need wars don't you? You people feed off of war like parasites. Freepers do not know Christ or his teachings.

What a bunch of pathetic dupes, I would pity them for their ignorance if I didn't loathe them so much.

15. Most scholars on revelations agree that revelation was written about and
during the fall of Rome. The anti christ and 666 all are linked to Cesar. Thats like saying Nostradamus had the power to see the future, yet according to him the end times would start after Ted K was elected to the WH, according to those that follow his writings. What some clever people have done was to link everything together after the fact. 9/11 happened and the bible and Nostradamus said it would, but if that was true then 9/11 should have been for seen and stopped. In another words, an event happens and the doom dayers say see it was for told, yet before it happens they can't see it. When people try to use either to say whats going to come next, it never pans out. Then you get the god works in mysterious ways speech.

35. Yes, it could just be that Bush is the inheritor of a very old and evil
story that repeats over and over.

Caesar, Napoleon, Hitler, Pol Pot, Pinochet, Bush...

Absolutely. My point wasn't so much that Revelations is the word of prophesy but that Bush seems to fill it ex post facto...as the others I have mentioned above.

18. Bush-Haven Politics
To your point I think there is one. Bush-Haven politics where religion and republican politics (may) seem to tie, and looking at some of the opinions of those that rightly politicly religously and in some for instances narcissist views will also seem to poor threw ,It may be they will seem to think something, and it is indeed of an odd indication ,though it may also be very difficult to prove.Do you know in some places they ,may, seem to be of a view that finds fault with a thing called literary license. To control that or create laws that are not in line with freedom of speech,is also anti american by it,s cause.Though once again, difficult to prove. The seperation of church and state. It may seem that they will know no bounds.

26. You gotta remember the fine people from bushfish.org
bushfish.org For love of God and Country, or so their little tagline goes.

"If so, then show your love for God, the President, and the USA!"

They brought us this sweet little ditty:

"If this country's legislature and judiciary are supposed to
reflect the values and beliefs of The People, then send them
a message that they are WAY off course!"

Some of the letters were pretty interesting:

From: Bennie B. (San Francisco, CA)
Date: May 10, 2005
I've been reading about your site quite a bit today on www.dailykos.com, and clearly
some people areupset by this. I personally do not agree with the notion that W is
"doing the Lord's work" but I also cannot deny that the same First Amendment that
everyone is holding against this site is the SAME amendment that provides you the
right to air your opinions (however misguided and uneducated they are). I guess we
need to increase education spending in the red states. Peace.

From: J Park (New York, NY)
Date: Aug 16, 2005
Brilliant concept and design. Although I think it looks much better if you rotate it 90
degrees counter-clockwise. Because, frankly... it looks just like a bomb with our
beloved President's name on it. I think we'll adopt your wonderful symbol for our next
anti-war campaign. And remember, imitation is purest flattery. Thanks again!

From: Mike W (Little Rock, Arkansas)
Date: June 7, 2005
I'm so glad I was fortunate enough to be born an Atheist. It's nice to know I have a
functioning brain. When I see stuff like this website, it always amazes me that people
like you can even manage to get through the day without help. Problem is, you think
you are right, but you don't have a clue. America is not a Christian nation.

From: Maura B (Tampa, Florida)
Date: May 21, 2005
We DO have enough Christian values and beliefs in our governmental institutions; like
“IN GOD WE TRUST” on every dollar; bibles swearing in all officials, etc. Therefore,
you are not being honest about your goals.

As a historian, I must remind you that “good Christians”

1.stole this land from native people and are responsible for their genocide;
2.enslaved Africans that built this nation with their labor at no cost to Christians;
3.and terrorize poor nations with military-violence all over the world.

Thank God, we are not all Christians in this nation.

And of course, some reich-wing nutjobs:

From: Amanda D (Florida)
Date: Dec 2, 2005
I'm joining my fellow Floridian Eric G. in showing my
love for Jesus, President Bush, and the United States
of America! And if we are lucky, Governor Jeb Bush
will pick up the torch in 2008 for 8 more years! Thank
you!!

From: Kelly (Jackson, MS)
Date: Sept 19, 2005
Please don't be discouraged by the ugly letters you have received. I'm glad someone
has the nerve and wherewithal to do something about what seems to be a dying breed.
Keep up the good work.

From: Sarah L, (New York, NY)
Date: May 3, 2005
"I cannot believe you are suggesting that George W. Bush is the savior!! This
country was founded on the belief that Church and State should be kept separate.
Why not just respect the founders' wishes and leave well-enough alone?!?!"

from the bushfish morans themselves PLEASE NOTE: The BushFish does not suggest that President Bush is Divine. It is intended to represent Christian Republicans who support the President's position on God's role in government.

From: Chris P, (Roswell, GA)
Date: May 10, 2005

Sarah, President Bush isn't the Savior. But he IS the best chance we have for
returning to a society based on morals and traditional family values. And I think that's
what the BushFish is saying. For me, it's a sign that I'm a Christian Republican and
nothing more. God Bless.

Nothing more... that's saying saying it all... IMHO...a "christian" rethuglian and nothing more... not a thinking human being... nothing

Go get a volcanic island out in the Pacific and christen it The "Christian" Republic of TaliWhackjobs. The only reason most Southerners are Repubs anyway is because they don't want to vote for the same people as blacks do (Democrats). The Republican party has been a white-flight party since the 1960s when some of the white southern Democrats were mad that the national Democrats were championing civil rights for blacks. And since the "Southern Strategy", turning all the formerly-democratic southern states into Red, Republican, Jesus Utopia.

27. Bu$h's "Christian" base believes that life begins at conception,
ends at birth, then begins again after the first $1 million is in the bank. They also support the war in Iraq (which has killed 2383+ US service personnel and 100,000+ Iraqis) and the death penalty. By their voting choices we can conclude too that they oppose health insurance/industry reforms that would save untold thousands of children and oldsters each year. Their voting choices also reveal that pro-life Christian voters are indeed against the stewardship of God's green earth as espoused by Jesus Christ. Environmental negligence is also killing untold thousands. Pro-life Christians aren't really pro-life. In fact, most aren't really Christians. Just like George Bu$h.

They care nothing for life. They just want to see every clump of cells gestated for nine months and then be born. After that, who gives one flying fuck what happens until you make it into the top 2%, then suddenly, you matter again.

And the ignorant fuckwits who think they're voting for "morals" and "values" are so pathetic, I don't know where to being.

Yes I do. Mr. kt's parents. They are the original fuckwits. Poor as dirt, unemployed, no health insurance and they think * is a "great president and leader." Let's hope they never ask us for a nickle. I wouldn't even loan them a penny.

"Baby killing is never justified" Mississippi wants to be the first state in the union to completely outlaw abortion.
"Our president is doing a fine job"
and something about "The War on Christmas/Easter/any other Christian holiday"

Hmm. Tell me - what, according to the US Constitution, is the ultimate governing authority, at least ideally? "We the People". A concept apparently lost on these pseudo-Christian deluded Freepers. They don't get that the President is just an elected bozo. They sure didn't obey their misapplication of Romans 13:1 when Clinton was in office! Actually, the President these misguided buffoons worship is the one who most closely needs to obey that verse and listen to the People, who are the true legitimate authority according to the supreme law of the land.

Will someone send these freepers back to civics class? We are a democratic representative republic, not a monarchical dictatorship, as much as they would like it to be one (and as much as * tries to make it one).
