'Spokesman Denies Rice Leaked Defense Info'
Spokesman Denies Rice Leaked Defense Info
By MATTHEW BARAKAT, Associated Press Writer

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, center, Chief of Staff ...
ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Condoleezza Rice's spokesman on Saturday branded as "utterly false" a lawyer's claim the secretary of state leaked national defense information to a pro-Israel lobbyist charged with receiving and disclosing such information.

The assertion came as a federal judge granted a defense request to issue subpoenas for Rice and three other government officials in the trial of Steven Rosen and Keith Weissman, the former lobbyists with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee charged in the case.

"The claims by these defense lawyers are utterly false," Rice's spokesman, Sean McCormack, told The Associated Press.

"The secretary is the most careful person in the handling of classified information and she absolutely did not convey classified information to either of these individuals," McCormack said.

Riiiiight. We believe you.:eyes: The truth is already out CONDILIAR.

That's how they do it. They just keep churning up so much crap, we can't keep up with it all.

5. Lying to the Public is considered an Impeachable offense...
Proposed amendment to the Constitution; to be applicable to the President, Vice-President and all Cabinet members, all members of Congress (House and Senate), and even to the Judges of the Supreme Court.

"No Comment", "I Don't Know", "I Don't Remember", "I'll Have to Get Back To You On That"... would all be necessarily more common responses.

In any case, we desperately need the Truth--especially from our elected (and/or supremely appointed) representatives/leaders; and there must be a penalty for lying/misleading. If it's secret; okay, don't tell us... but even if they think it's in our best interests to think something false is true--it isn't.
