"Ford offers incentive packages to cut US staff " - bbc
Carmaker Ford has offered incentive packages to all of its 41,000 US hourly workers in a bid to reduce its factory costs.

1. offering 50k cash to get away from US workers is telling
These jobs are not likely to EVER come back. Corproate America can't shed US jobs fast enough. They have all learned that the name of the game in today's world is to find and exploit the absolute cheapest labor force anywhere on the planet it may be found. Ford and the others have ZERO allegiance to America or Americans. That is of course unless they need to get bailed out. Of course, Ford did not take a dip in that pool.
