United Papermakers & Paperworkers merge with Int'l Brotherhood of Pulp, Sulphite & Paper Mill Workers of the US & Canada to become United Paperworkers International Union - 1972

And this: August 9, 1972 - The United Paperworkers International Union was founded. It later merged with the OCAW to become PACE, the Paper, Allied Industrial, Chemical and Energy Workers union, and is now part of the United Steelworkers.
