Two Unions Charge Delta Airlines Management With Improper Interference In Union Elections

The International Association of Machinists has joined the Association of Flight Attendants in charging Delta with illegal interference by Delta Air Lines in recent union elections. In results announced Monday the IAM lost the vote 439 against to 166 in favor. The IAM had previously alleged election interference in a vote to represent fleet service workers. They have filed the charges with the National Mediation Board which will determine if a revote needs to occur.
