SEIU Says The $134 Billion Tax Cut Going To The Rich Could Create 3.4 Million Jobs Instead

http://www.laborradio.org/Channels/Story.aspx?ID=1324277

By Doug Cunningham

The Service Employees International Union says ending tax breaks for the rich could create 3.4 million jobs over two years. SEIU President Mary Kay Henry says the $134 billion the government is handing back to the richest Americans in the next two years could instead be used to reduce unemployment by 2.2 percent. SEIU says the government decision to not create jobs with that money will instead give CEO’s huge tax bonuses. According to U.S. Chamber Watch CEO’s at Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase,

Sorry that has been in my head all morning. Do kids have to read that crap any more? Aristrocracy, anyone? Let them eat cake. Peasants, peons, workers, labor, women, minorities, we are propelling backward at an alarming rate. Unions take a great big fucking for us. Thank you, SEIU.

7. Ideas with no chance of passing Congress are useless except as philosophical exercises.

I know the President, along with the current House and Senate leadership would be very happy to do that but it can't pass the Senate. Nobody can actually not understand that.

It seems like everyone is howling at the moon for stuff with no chance of happening.

8. The whole tax cut for the rich is nothing more than grand theft.

It is the lowest point in U.S. Government History. America (the 98% group of the non-rich), you are being robbed blind and don't even seem to realize it. Where in the Hell do you think all of your money has gone? Hint: check the stats on the rich compared to 10 years ago.

Please America, quit wasting time talking about wedge issues such as "family values","prayers in school","Immigrants" and "Gay and Lesbian rights" and start noticing that while you are follow the bouncing ball put in play by the rich to distract you, they are fleecing you and turning you into slaves (if you even have a job at all).

WAKE UP, PLEASE! Your Countrymen need you now.

It pissed me off to no end to see on the NY Times homepage about restrictions on abortion that could be coming.

I can't believe we have these arrogant SOBs in Congress who are fixated on abortion vs. working on our economy.

Maybe if the women had jobs or had jobs that paid a living wage they wouldn't have to consider abortion.

Of course these anti-choice fuc*ers don't give a da** about these women.

10. They're looking at it backward.
3.4 million additional job cuts could mean $134 billion more for the rich.

Why can't people grasp these simple concepts?

11. Well, if we HAVE to borrow the money, why NOT spend it on us?
That would at least be a better deal than we have now.
