Steel Workers Applaud WTO Decision Upholding U.S. Tariffs On Chinese Tires

United Steel Workers president Leo Gerard is applauding a win at the Word Trade Organization for U.S. tariffs on Chinese tires. The WTO found for the United States in the trade dispute with China. Gerard says since President Obama put the tariffs on in September of 2009 U.S. tire production and capital investments in U.S. tire production are up and new jobs have been created for American tire workers.
