Posted a day late.

January 18

January 19, 1915 - World famous labor leader Joe Hill was arrested in Salt Lake City. He was convicted on trumped-up murder charges and executed 21 months later despite worldwide protests and two attempts to intervene by President Woodrow Wilson.

"Take This Job and Shove It," by Johnny Paycheck, is listed by Billboard magazine as the most popular song in the U.S. - 1978
