was interviewed by Fox Business News on the steps of the
capitol in Madison today. I don't think the dude got what he wanted out of me. When he blustered on about how I should be happy to give up a little for my pension and health insurance cost, I said, "No, that's not the issue. It is about busting the union. Taking away collective bargaining which has nothing to do with the 'budget shortfall'."

He blustered on about how all of these pension funds were underfunded! About to implode! Unsupportable!!!

I said, "not in Wisconsin". Then I let the air time run on. No more words from me. After a few awkward (for him) seconds, he asked "do you have anything else to say?" I said "no." And let him stand there with the microphone in my face for a few more seconds. Then he moved on when he realized I wasn't going to play.

Fox Business News? Can you use those words together in a sentence?

6. Proud to be brought up in Wisconsin
I'm wondering, is Fox a Union shop? Are the corporate
media,(CBS/ABC/NBC), union? I just assumed so, but can anyone
catch me up? The cameramen, etc, I'm assuming have union
representation...the dynamic of corporate power over the union
shop seems pretty stark in the case of the news media
reporting,walking a tightrope..
