The lines are clearly drawn.
The Republican Party is attempting to break the back of organized labor in order to dry up a major funding source for the Democratic Party.
Meanwhile WE LOSE in this insidious political game.
Hats off to the jack-offs on talk radio and TV who serve their big-monied corporate bosses (the same bosses that have a vested interest in bringing down unions).
They are so damn good that they have fooled even unionized public employees into supporting the ruination of their careers.
I long for a day when I can open up a newspaper and see a "Labor" section (they have a "Business" section) or see TV and hear radio stations address the concerns of the working-class in intelligent fact driven ways as opposed to the lies and divisiveness on the airwaves today.

Scott Walker (R) that would strip collective bargaining rights from that state's public employees, union backers are feverishly working to derail what they describe as an equally troubling federal proposal with a clear route to passage.
In recent days, union officials have ramped up lobbying efforts to block or remove language in the Federal Aviation Administration reauthorization bill that would make it drastically harder for rail or aviation workers to unionize.

As I observed in "What Conservatives Really Want," the conservative story about budget deficits is a ruse to turn the country conservative in every area. Karl Rove and Shep Smith have made it clear on Fox: If the Wisconsin plan to kill the public employees' unions succeeds, then there will be little union money in the future to support democratic candidates. Conservatives will be effectively unopposed in raising campaign funding in most elections, including the presidential elections. This will mean a thoroughly conservative America in every issue area.

Scott Walker’s (R) efforts. Speaking at CPAC’s “Panel for Labor Policy,” Hagerstrom said that AFP really wants to do is to “take the unions out at the knees”:
