The United States as we know it was built around unions. If you look back at U.S. history
during the Industrial Revolution you can see that union workers helped to change the
working conditions that plagued the era.

Last month, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker won his battle with labor unions through the
passing of his proposed bill to limit the collective bargaining rights for labor unions.

The bill also called for the limiting of police and firefighter unions. Some people call it
the anti- labor union bill. After protests at the state capitol and the democrat's legislator leaving the state, it was passed. The reason why it is such a shock is because Wisconsin has always been deemed a liberal state.

So what happens now? It has been reported that other states such as Ohio and Tennessee
also created anti- union bills. However, Ohio's bill is much harsher than the one passed in Wisconsin.

Even though a judge has issued a restraining order against the bill's implementation in Wisconsin, the larger issue remains: unions are under attack.
