Center For American Progress Report: GOP Budget Cuts Cost 370,000 Jobs

The Center For American Progress released a report Thursday it says shows budget cuts insisted on by the Republican-controlled U.S. House cost the American economy hundreds of thousands of jobs. The Center For American Progress says the report shows this is no theoretical loss of jobs, but real people who got re4al pink slips as a result of these cuts. The report focused on cuts in spending for law enforcement, cuts in investments in the construction, repair and maintenance of federal buildings and spending for cleanup of nuclear weapons production facilities. Scott Lilly, author of the report, says the budget cuts eliminated approximately 370,000 jobs.

3. also...crime up due to cop cuts. My town, GOP cuts now have us with 30% fewer cops than
