The Teamsters have scored a big organizing win in Florida – a majority of the nearly 20,000 correctional, probation and parole officers with the Florida Department of Corrections recently voted to join the Teamsters.

Teamsters President Jim Hoffa, who recently won re-election for another term in office, welcomed the Florida correction officers to the 1.4 million member Teamsters union.

I want the FOP seperated from the Unions that honor society and work hard for progressive ideas.

Just as soon as someone can convince me that we are not a police State, i'll listen.

Edit for spelling.
