Economic Report: More than 18 percent of unemployed for more than six months

Long-term unemployment is rising at a startling rate according to a new report at CNN Money. In 2007 roughly 17.6 percent of the unemployed were out of a job for more than six months. The latest showing in January suggests that 18.3 percent of the unemployed have been out of work for more than six months.
