Boston Hotel

My wife and I are taking a cruise out of Boston beginning June 13. We will arrive Boston June 12. Any advice as to where to stay - cheap and close to the cruise departure?

1. How are you arriving in Boston? I assume you are going to the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal?

I flew into Boston, stayed at an airport hotel, then took a taxi the next morning to the cruise terminal - it was a short ride.
Like really, really short.

Basically, the city is compact, so if you stay anywhere close to downtown it won't be much of a cab ride - maybe 15 min?

And boy, if you get a chance, try to tack on a day to your trip to do Boston - what a fantastic city!
One of my absolute favorites. Hey, you are already there, take advantage!

2. thanks - already made plans as you suggest

getting in early evening - so just heading to an airport hotel. Will catch a cab the next morning to the terminal.

Wish I had more time for a short visit, unfortunately, not this time.
