in a villa with a full kitchen. I was thinking of renting one just for the weekend to drive to Hana and maybe Haleakala NP.
I'm mostly trying to shave some dollars but also I just don't want to do much but relax on the beach.
thanks in advance.

1. If you just want to cruise the beach, probably not, |

but Hana is one weekend at least, and Haleakala is at least a day.
Even the grocery store is a drive from Ka'anapali.
Might just be I'm picky but if I was going to Maui I'd take a water filter, even a simple countertop Britta. The water tastes nasty and bottled water is expen$ive.

I can't send you to my Maui fave spots because Oprah bought it :( :( But you can still ride on the Thompson ranch!
