Tickets are $438+tax aller-retour (round trip) from the East Coast. For an extra $60 each person you can add another city in France/Italy/Spain etc.
The numbers of seats are limited, which is why we didn't get to use AirFrance for our Christmas trip. Have to use UScareways but the price is the same. Don't get our AirFrance Frequence Plus miles though.
The only guides we bother with anymore is Michelin. Even though they had the guy come out last year and say that they don't get to check every restaurant every year, they are still one of the best out there. If you're a semi experienced traveler Michelin really can be the definitive guide to France.
They're are not going to give you the tips that Steves or Frommers lets you in on, but for depth they are superb.
And after a couple of bad experiences on our last trip with Frommer recommended restaurants, I don't trust them. (We were traveling with another couple and they wanted to try this restaurant called Chez Gramond in the 6th. Not the worst meal I've ever had, but certainly one of the most overpriced. My complete review is here

Just checked the link and it may not work. You may have to copy and paste the address.
And I'm not sure if the Air France sale is over today.
Also, if you're looking for a good restaurant guide go the France forum on egullet.org - there are some threads there by a guy named John Talbot with some excellent recommends.
