I'm being treated by a dermatologist outside my plan for skin cancer. She's caught a Stage I malignant melanoma and now a solar keratosis (pre-cancerous).

I pay in full for both her appointments, the surgery, and the lab analysis/pathology. Pricy.

I made an appointment for a follow-up at 5 and the new policy is a $50 deposit to hold the appointment. The office said the reason was too many appointments at that time and later were canceled in the past. $50 to hold an appointment or forfeiture if you're stuck in traffic. Sheesh!
