That's what I'm calling my dad right now.

He's in good spirits, despite my minor car accident. (He paid over 1,600 on my last one, and I'm paying him back - he's happy that I'm taking charge of this accident and did NOT want to involve him)

His hair is growing back - kind of whitish-gray..

I just want my old gray-dad back.

My sister will visit him next week from Chicago - this is the first relative visit he's had besides the local one here.

I'm excited to see her - haven't seen her in almost a year.

1. Hey! Peach fuzz is okay!

I spent last summer with the fuzz, and them my hair started growing back pretty quickly. It's now wavey, and salt and pepper. I'm not coloring it anymore. It won't be long. Glad he's doing good.

I might be joining the peach fuzz club. I was diagnosed two weeks ago with stage 1 invasive ductal carcinoma. I had my first appointment today at the Mayo Clinic and was somewhat shocked to learn that they may consider doing chemo as well as lumpectomy and radiation.
