That's Altitude.tv, owned by Rethuglican E. Stanley Kroenke, a known Walmart magnate (or at least the wife's a heir to the Walmart fortune).

They have completed 2 seasons of programming, and they are supposed to start captioning the 3rd season, and what do I see? No captioning.

I emailed operations@altitude.tv and programming@altitude.tv and asked them to explain themselves as to why they have not started captioning their programming. Of course, I get no response.

I am urging you to ask them to comply with the FCC and ADA law as it is written.

They have exclusive coverage of the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche.

1. I live in the UK
and Channel 4's More4 doesn't caption Jon Stewart. I've emailed them twice (and got a response back both times):

10/12/06 Thank you for your email regarding THE DAILY SHOW.

We're sorry to read that you are disappointed that there are no subtitles on this programme. Unfortunately our budgets for these services are limited on our digital channels so we have to make decisions about which shows to subtitle. We have logged your complaint and passed it onto all those responsible for subtitling.

It was the same in the email earlier this year. I would really like to see Jon Stewart subtitiled. The shows before and after Jon Stewart are subtitled. That is what I don't understand.

Good luck with asking this channel to caption their programming.

2. Wrong target
Altitude TV doesn't care about you. If they have exclusive coverage, in their minds, where else you gonna go?

Better let the teams and the players know how their partners are treating their fans.

3. Do you know what is crazy about Japan?
EVERYTHING is close captioned. Movies, video, regular tv, and you don't need to hit the CC button. It's all close captioned all the time, by default.
