An important suggestion: Become a Deputy Voter Registrar
If you're a precinct chair, block captain, or someone involved on the grassroots level, please look into becoming a deputy voter registrar. In 2004, too many people in Nevada and other states had their registration forms trashed by Republican front groups who deducted that prospective voters would cast their votes for Kerry instead of Bush. If you're a deputy registrar, you cut out the middleman because you'll peronally be handling the registration forms and taking them to your county election office.

1. In Kansas it is so easy
You don't have to be formally trained. We hand out forms while we canvass and then collect them and turn them in.

But if they are Republicans, we tell them to mail the form. ;)

5. Or maybe it gets crumpled in a purse
or a jacket pocket, or how about a car visor? Stuck up there under the visor and forgotten?

Shame on me, too.
