We had a precinct re-organization meeting last night.
Miracle of miracles, I was not the organizer and am no longer the chair! I am happy about this. The precinct work was too much for me in addition to the other activist stuff I do. I could never get anyone else interested in chairing the precinct or even volunteering much, so I let it drop. But this guy I never met before has stepped up to the plate. He seems really jazzed about it too.

So now I am the vice-chair and my own block captain. About 8 people showed for the meeting last night, which is a pretty good number for our neck of the woods.

2. That's exciting.
Do you want to do it?

Our local party is in a total uproar after some local activist shenanigans. The County Chair just stepped down after much high drama. I don't think the debacle was his fault, but someone needed to fall on the sword, and he was it :(

3. he's good for a few more years and he's angling to put me on the State
steering committee

Not sure he can, he's supposed to nominate a male

depends on if I go back to work or not. if I don't I'd be glad to be of service

4. You have the interest and the abilities.
It would be a great situation, provided you have the time.
