You would be amazed how many fell for that ad. I believe it played only in Iowa, except when the media played it nationally.

What can you say about a nation that falls for stuff like this? The media has done it's job well. The dumbing down of a great country.

2. it worked on my parents

and they know that i like lattes, love sushi, and subscribe to the NYT. volvos & piercings i can live without.

but if i tell them anything i read in that paper, anything that contaradicts their foxnews information, they don't believe it. every word in the NYT is a lie. i mean, sure, every word ultimately protects the status quo, but why would they lie about, say, the best albums of the year?

Meanwhile, I need to get my coffee ground and check out the transmission fluid level on my 240DL before I go out to sushi and we have lattes with soy milk afterwards...before firebombing the neighborhood Boy Scout troop's annual awards dinner. Then Sunday I shall be busy preparing for the students' return to classes in this new semester. There are so many minds to corrupt!

6. One of the reasons I was so upset when Dean lost the nomination
