I'm betting that US Media is going to have a hard time putting
1+1=2 together

So I figured I just put all these events in order

Less than 24 hours from his War Speech last Night
because make no ifs or Buts
That was a War Speech

These are his actions

1. Well done!
There ya have it folks.

I'm thinking we've been asking the wrong question. Many have asked that Bush define "victory". I'm thinking we should ask him to define "failure". Is failure not being able to keep this sham going until he is out of office and can blame it on another president? Is failure not being able to get his buddies in big oil enough time to twist Iraq's arm and get them to sign that new 30-year oil contract? What exactly is failure? Besides the base definition: George W. Bush = FAILURE!

9. Ummm...
Does anyone have a link to the story covering this attack cuz no matter where I look I don't see anything about an Iranian consulate being attacked today or anytime since like June?

11. Here are several links
Apparently there is now some dispute as to whether the building attacked was officially a consulate or not.

U.S. forces in Iraq raided Iran's consulate in the northern city of Arbil

I'm getting some hints that this raid on the Iranian consulate in northern Iraq may be part of something much bigger.

U.S. Troops Stage Second Secret Raid at Iraq Airport
http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/story?id=2788262&page=1

The liaison office that was raided issues travel permits for Iraqis traveling to Iran and other consular tasks and is on a waiting list to be officially declared a consulate. Technically, according to the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, the Iranians working in the liaison are not diplomats.

The Iranian foreign ministry has said the raid was "against a diplomatic mission" and is demanding the release of those who were abducted.

17. *Shakes his head*
This idiot president of ours is even more dangerous than I ever gave him credit for. He's trying to provoke an attack form Iran and Syria. He specifically called them out in his speech and try to pull a literal vietnam. Just like US forces went into Cambodia when they weren't supposed to he's going to use incursions by Iran and Syria as an excuse for incursions on them, just daring either one of them to take a shot so he can justify dragging the entire middle east into a war.

He's praying Europe will be on his side. He startes the 3rd world war and hopefully in the end anyone who dares to be muslim will be wiped and the middle east (or it's oil reserves more specifically) can be molded into the image of pro western, pro capitalist governments.

Bush has greatly touted his Christian faith in the past. Let me jsut say as I Christian I honest to God believe that idiot might very well be the Antichrist. I think he believes it's his destiny to bring about the end of the friggin' world.

18. Yep, he's trying to provoke
It's so blatant, but I wonder if anyone at the WH or Pentagon thinks they're being subtle. Yeesh. I also seriously wonder about his sanity. It's frightening as hell.

12. Reason you don't find much in our News Media is because
THEY ARE NOT REPORTING

they are hiding the TRUTH

70% of US Americans don't want escalation and yet Bush gets on TV and says

Escalation it is

14. I think it was NPR radio this morning
and it mentioned "surprise" by the Turks and anger and gun pointing by the Kurds and US forces which means the story came out because the locals are pissed. The legality and the timing and the objectives of the Bush admin. are all as sordid as any other crime they have committed.

It is not so much that the story is not reported as that no one is picking it up, expanded on it, following up or otherwise touching it at all- which is also typically sordid and despicable by our name only "free press". For those familiar with the "Bush won" fanfare stories and silence about mammoth election legitimacy questions this is just more of the same.

When is the last time any nation purposely attacked a diplomatic mission much less an embassy? And what are the goals? To antagonize Iran(number one) and show some meaningless will to make the Shiite militias back down. Which group in Iraq will be happy? The Sunnis we intend to clobber? The Kurds we have just antagonized? It just makes the incredibly shrinking Iran or Bust lobby happy.

Another day, another war crime.

Given the stretched and mired nature of all our military forces EVERY operation big or little probably does have for its single purpose the Iraq/Iran continuation. The only people on the planet not having the capacity or will to even imagine such high probabilities are our highly paid professional US "news" organizations. So special, so smart, so unbiased.

15. Just ask yourself...
...why would he deploy Patriot Missile systems? There are no missiles threatening the troops! Why do we need another Battle Group? Why do we need an Admiral in charge of a mostly ground operation?

Because we are going to bomb Iran.
