This old SOTU footage has been remixed. Ouch! It's so bold I'm almost afraid to post it. Almost. But, not entirely... If it downloads too slowly for you, then let it download first with the sound off, then listen to the whole thing in one swoop. It's much better that way.

12. Actually, the remix was done in 2006

but this SOTU must be much older than that even because there is a shot of John Edwards sitting with the Senate. That's why I wrote in the OP that it is "old SOTU footage that has been remixed". I'm not really sure about the actual date of the address, but I would guess it to be in 2003, just before invading Iraq. Christie Whitman and Colin Powell are still there, and it was before Powell's speech to the UN, so it must have been the pep talk before the Iraq invasion. That would fit with 2003.

In any case, someone did a bang-up job on the editing. It is awesome.

7. Let it download all the way before you watch it,

otherwise it really is too annoying. Just minimize the screen and go about your business for about 10 minutes and then go back and watch it. It will be much more enjoyable that way.
