This is the first in a series of six video clips taken after the March on January 27, 2007. On the way back to our hotel, livvy, WolverineDG and I saw some young people dancing in the street with perhaps a couple hundred people watching them. As we walked up Independence Ave. we looked back and saw the police moving in to break up the gathering, as the march was over and they wanted to reopen the street to traffic. They had police on horses, motorcycles with sidecars, bicycles, police cars, K-9 units and unmarked SUVs. They also had one or two paddy wagons. The police were very restrained and no one was arrested, but it took quite a while to get the kids to move.

The police finally opened the street back up, but several of the kids decided to just sit down in the middle of the street, even though traffic was coming through -- it looked like they were there just to find a way to get arrested. Shortly after the traffic started up, the finally got up without incident.
