17. Congressional approval at 9%
This bunch of spineless bastards will hold Karl Rove in contempt but do nothing,
This bunch of spineless bastards will give the Cheney Administration billions more for the lied about war,
This bunch of spineless bastards will not do anything while American's are loosing their rights and freedoms while fasist criminals run the White House.

22. Actually, if we only had 217 more like him, so there'd actually be a Dennis majority running things!
That'd make it worth watching CSPAN.

7. I think this is great!
And I don't say that casually. Here's the sad part tho.... We're lauding a congressperson for doing what they're supposed to do in the course of their duties as law enforcers and guardians of the constitution and doing so on behalf of the folks that send him to DC as their voice.

I took over a job station in an aircraft manufacturing plant some 20 years ago. The guy that had had this particular assignment before me was very lackluster in his performance - to say the least. The tools he was supposed to repair and return to the tool cribs for use by production folks - those repairable tools more often just got dumped in the trash. In the week before he departed, he "trained" me as to how to prioritize what to bother repairing and what not. His approach was (and had been for years) fix a few and toss the rest in a dumpster. "They'll just buy more!" he reasoned. Of course, the reality was that he was telling the truth. Nobody ever watched this operation to see what it's efficiency COULD potentially be.
So after he leaves, I take stock of what the job entails. Certainly the company expected me to do something for the paycheck that came out each Thursday. I'd seen what they had obviously tolerated for the dozen years before it became my job and I decided to see what I might be able to accomplish if I truly applied myself - not to where I'd be totally spent at the end of each day, but just to where I could leave and feel like I'd been a productive part of the overall operation. When I could overhaul a $700-dollar tool with $20 or $50 worth of parts in less than 15 minutes time, wouldn't that be a good thing?
Two weeks into my taking over, the folks from the tool crib operation came by my shop one morning. They had a pretty, framed certificate of appreciation as well as a T-shirt, beach towel, a gift certificate to the company store and a dinner for two ticket to a nice restaurant. I was blown away by it all! Imagine - that much appreciation and fuss for simply doing what I was paid to do. <sigh>

Now if we could just convince Pelosi and the rest of the herd to simply do what their assignments spell out.

15. How Impeachment will go down........
1. Bush will issue a blanket pardon to Dick Cheney.
2. Bush will resign the Presidency.
3. Cheney will take office and issue blanket pardon to Bush.
4. When Cheney leaves office, both he and Bush will leave the country and move to Paraguay, a country with no extradition treaty, where Bush has already purchased land, to avoid War Crimes prosecution.

You heard it here first folks!
